Military Liaison to BOE: Colonel James Pease 

Colonel James “Jaimie” Pease is the Director, Manpower and Personnel (J1), Headquarters, United States Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawai’i.  Colonel Pease supports the 300,000 personnel serving throughout the command’s vast area of responsibility, which includes 36 countries, by leading a diverse team of civilians, active duty, and reserve personnel in executing personnel planning, quality of life programs, and personnel support for ongoing operations and exercises through the Pacific Region. 

 

Colonel Pease received his commission from the Air Force through ROTC and entered active duty in October 1990.  He has commanded the 16th Mission Support Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Florida and the 379th Expeditionary Mission Support Group, Al Udeid AB, Qatar.  He has served multiple staff tours on the Joint Staff, MAJCOM, and AFPC levels.  He has deployed in support of Operations DESERT STORM, IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM.
